محمدجواد خوبی، کارگر ساختمانی ۲۲ ساله، در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در رشت به دست نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی در جریان اعتراضات کشته شد. او اهل روستای شیخعلیبست سنگر در رشت، واقع در استان گیلان بود. محمدجواد تنها پسر خانوادهای بود که از نظر مالی در تنگنا زندگی میکردند. او در زمان کشته شدن مجرد بود و گفته میشود که در همان ماهی که جان باخت، قصد خواستگاری داشت. مرگ او در جریان اعتراضات، به یادبود عمومی منجر شد و مراسمهای بزرگداشت، از جمله مراسم چهلم، برای او برگزار گردید. محمدجواد خوبی به عنوان یک «جاویدنام» در میان جانباختگان این اعتراضات یاد میشود.
